Ghana’s 26-man final squad for 2022 world cup

Ghana head coach Otto Addo has named his 26-man squad for the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup on Monday, November 14, 10 days to Ghana’s opener against Portugal.

Goalkeeper Richard Ofori has been left out of the squad over injury concerns. Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Ibrahim Danlad, and Richard Ofori are the goalkeepers in the squad.

Antoine Semenyo, Kamal Sowah, Elisha Owusu, Salis Abdul Samed and Inaki Williams are some of the new names in the squad for the tournament in Qatar.

Crystal Palace ace Jeffrey Schlupp is left out of the squad. Injuries have also ruled out number one goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott and Iddrisu Baba.

Joseph Paintsil, Mubarak Wakaso, and Majeed Ashimeru are also notable absentees.

Ghana will kick off the group stage against Portugal on November 24 before facing South Korea four days later and Uruguay on December 2.
