We’ll take Switzerland clash as first game of 2022 World Cup – Mohammed Kudus

Ghana star Mohammed Kudus says the Black Stars will play against Switzerland like it is the first game of the 2022 World Cup.

On Thursday at 10:00 GMT in Abu Dhabi, Otto Addo’s team will play the European country in their last pre-World Cup game.

The technical team will have the chance to finalize the starting lineup for the Group H opener against Portugal on November 24 during the match.

The Ajax midfielder stated that the level of urgency will be comparable to that of the World Cup before the game.

“We just came and preparation has been good.  The whole team looks ready and fit,We’ll take Switzerland clash as first game of 2022 World Cup – Mohammed Kudus so we’ll just go and then give our best and prepare for the World Cup ahead,” Kudus said.

“All these three games are preparation to the [World Cup] games, but tomorrow is another game.

“The past two games are finished and gone, so we just take the game tomorrow as the first game of the World Cup to really create the intensity and the energy and everything together ready for the World Cup.”

The game against Switzerland will come exactly a week before Ghana plays Portugal at the World Cup.
