Reports: Qatar bribed 8 Ecuador players $7.4 million to lose World Cup opener match

Qatar, the host country of the 2022 FIFA World Cup has been accused of bribing height Ecuadorian football players to loose in the second half of the World Cup opener match.

According to Amjad Taha, an expert in strategic political affairs and regional director of the British center in Saudi Arabia. He reported that eight Ecuadorian players are alleged to have been bribed $7.4 million in exchange for winning the match against Qatar

“Qatar bribed eight Ecuadorian players $7.4 million to lose the opener(1-0  2nd half). Five Qatari and #Ecadour insiders confirmed this.We hope it’s false. We hope sharing this will affect the outcome.The world should oppose FIFA corruption.”

Such publications are hard to ignore because Qatar has been accused in the past of bribing FIFA with millions of dollars to be chosen as the host of the World Cup.

Three days before the start of the World Cup, neither the government nor the Qatar Football Federation has commented on the facts.
