Let us remain united behind the Black Stars and support them strongly in the remaining group matches.

Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has called on the people of Ghana to rally behind the Black Stars as the World Cup in Qatar progresses

He is of the view that the stars put in a spirited performance and deserve to be supported.

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia made this known after Ghana’s Black Stars lost their opening encounter against Portugal on Thursday November 24, 2022.

He intimated that the country may be down from the first match but certainly not out because there is hope of coming back to make great exploits in the subsequent games.

“While we are all downhearted by the unfortunate loss by the Black Stars to Portugal, we must appreciate that they put up a spirited performance and acquitted themselves well.

We may be down, but we are certainly not out and we should not despair.

Let us remain united behind the Black Stars and support them strongly in the remaining group matches.
