I don’t own a house in US, Kennedy Agyapong admits he was misinformed – Karbo

Anthony Abayifaa Karbo, a former Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways has refuted claims of owning a house in the United States of America (USA).

According to him, the allegations are completely false as he has never owned a house in the US.

His response follows comments made by Kennedy Agyapong in Bolgatanga at a meeting with party executives to announce his presidential ambitions. In a viral audio, Mr Agyapong is heard lashing out at the former Lawra MP and accusing him of acquiring a property in the States when he was served as a deputy minister.

In his response however on Facebook, Anthony Abayifaa Karbo said “I wish to state categorically that I own no such property in the USA and the claim of impugning corruption against me is non-existent”.

At a meeting to resolve the obvious impasse between the two him and the Assin Central MP, he disclosed that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong made admissions that he was misinformed about the said property.

“Kennedy Agyapong agreed there was misinformation with regards to the claim that I bought a house in the USA when I was MP and Deputy Minister,” he said in the post
