Former President John Dramani Mahama has taken a swipe on President Akufo-Addo over the freeze on employment for the public sector, beginning from 2023.

The policy which was announced in the 2023 budget means government cannot pay workers if it employed any due to the country’s ailing economy.

However former president Mahama has blamed the situation on the reckless spending and mismanagement of President Akufo-Addo and his appointees.

Meanwhile many Ghanaians have criticised the president recent visit to Qatar to motivate Black Stars in the ongoing World Cup tournament.

Many people have said he could have placed a phone call to motivate Black Stars in Qatar just like how American president Biden did instead of spending taxes payers money of a country which is facing economic crisis with high inflation rate.
