Sacked Deputy National Security Coordinator and member of the Communications team of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hopeson Yaovi Adorye has indirectly accused the vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia of bribing Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah to prophesy the upcoming 2024 elections in his favor.

In a facebook post trending on social media, Mr Adorye claimed nobody can bribe Owusu Bempah who is a true man of God to prophesy in his favor.

“Nobody can bribe a true man of God to prophesy in his favour. The Champion Prophet” he made the post with a photo of Owusu Bempah.

His comment comes after Dr Bawumia made a special visit to Prophet Owusu Bempah yesterday to pray with them.

During his visit to the church, Dr Bawumia told Owusu Bempah and his congregation;

“Today, Ghana is one of the most peaceful countries, the most peaceful country in West Africa and the second most peaceful country in the whole of Africa, we should thank God.

“I believe that we are a peaceful country not by a coincidence but by the grace of God, we have men and women of God who keep praying for the this country and God is listening to our prayers.

“I want to thank Rev Owusu-Bempah for his prayers for this country I want to ask that he should continue praying for Ghana and the government.”

Hopeson Adorye, who is also a campaign team member of Alan Kyeremanteng for NPP primaries earlier accused the government of sacking him because he’s campaigning for Mr Alan.
