Messi’s hotel room in Qatar to be turned into a “museum”

The hotel room Lionel Messi stayed in during the FIFA World Cup in Qatar is set to be turned into a museum.

Argentina won the 2022 FIFA World Cup under the leadership of Messi after defeating France 4-3 on penalties in one of the most exciting finials in the history of the World Cup.

The enthralling game ended 3-3 after 120 minutes, and the final will go down as one of the greatest moments in footballing history.

The 35-year-old was named player of the tournament after scoring two goals in the final, and scored seven goals in total at the Mundial to win the silver boot.

His achievements are now set to be immortalised. According to Achraf Ben Ayad, the University of Qatar space he stayed in will be turned into a ‘small museum’.

Messi also become the first player to score in the group stage, round of 16, quarterfinal, semi-final and final in a single edition of the FIFA World Cup.

This is the trophy his supporters will now use as an evidence in their debate that he is the real GOAT of football, as he joins Pele and Diego Maradona as World Cup-winning greats.
