Talented Black Stars attacker, Asamoah Gyan has stated that during his early senior high school days, he was forced by the headmistress of the school to take part in sporting activities.

In a recent interview monitored by ghlatest.net, he made it clear that he was solely bent on focusing on his academics when he started schooling at the second cycle level.

However, he was compelled by his headmistress to partake in the school’s sporting activities which he eventually grew to become familiar with.

Adding to this, Gyan said it was after he agreed to play for his school’s team that the school won the trophy for the best soccer team in that year’s super zonals football competition.
