Nigerian music diva, Tiwa Savage has come out to provide reasons why Nigerian musicians are breaking barriers in the African music terrain.

In a recent interview monitored by ghlatest.net, the female musician said she feels Nigerians are simply tough and hard-working and that fact is evidentiary in their works when it comes to music production.

Adding to this, the “Sugarcane” hitmaker said one of the major reasons why they appear better than other musicians from the West African continent is based on the fact that Afrobeats originally emanated from their fatherland.

Furthermore, she said the fact that Fela Kuti can be recognized as the father and king of Afrobeats makes it quite understandable why they are always second to none on the continent as far as the genre is concerned.
