We Used Covid-19 Infected Players Against Ghana – Comoros FA Boss Confesses

The President of the Comoros Football Association (CFA), Said Ali Said has indicated that he aided the Comoros national team to use players who were infected by the novel corona virus against Ghana at the recent 2021 AfCON tournament.

The Islanders from Comoros were able to make a ground breaking record after they beat the Black Stars of Ghana on a 3-2 scoreline to ensure the Ghanaian team bowed out of the competition with less than three points.

In light of this fact, the team from Comoros brought in an outfield player to stay in post as their goalkeeper in their Round of 16 knockout stage encounter against Cameroon after 11 of their players tested positive for Covid-19 prior to the game.

It’s in regards to this fact that the President of the Comoros Football Association has come out to state that they used players who had already tested positive for Covid-19 against Ghana irrespective of their medical condition and its repercussions.
