Volta Region To Host 66th Independence Day Celebration, Details Drop (Read More)

Information reaching the auspices of ghlatest.net indicates the Volta Region of Ghana has been selected as the venue for the 66th Independence day celebration which will be organized on 6th March, 2023.

This information was made public after the Head of Operations at the office of the President, Mr. Lord Commey went to the traditional authorities of the region to offer them prior notice to get them prepared for the occasion.

During his disclosure, he said the President chose the Volta Region for this year’s celebration in accordance with his personal decision to rotate the national occasion across regions of Ghana to propel national unity.

Mr. Lord Commey added that, the Independence square alone cannot host the “August” event hence the President has decided to ensure this year’s celebration is staged in the Volta Region to enhance unity among natives.
