Haruna Iddrisu Still Remains Minority Leader – Cletus Avoka Boldly States, Checkout His Reason

The Member of Parliament for the Zebila constituency has reaffirmed Hon. Haruna Iddrisu’s position as leader of the minority group of parliament despite his recent decision to vacate the position.

According to Hon. Cletus Avoka, the outgone minority leader of eight parliament is technically the leader of the caucus irrespective of the legal changes made by his party.

Adding to this, he said since parliament is currently not in session, any new action that indicates there is a new takeover cannot hold since and this makes untenable that a new parliamentary member has taken over.

He reiterated that, though there has been a little shake up in parliamentary positions held by some legislators, the new decision still remains a murky one in light of the fact that parliament has not yet returned to continue proceedings after the recent changes made.
