The Minister of Communications and Digitalisation, Hon. Ursula Owusu Ekuful has warned quickloan defaulters who have intentionally refused to pay their debt, hence consciously refusing to re-register their SIM cards to ensure they make payment because they will be fished out.

In a recent disclosure made by the legislator, he described the intentions and actions of these quickloan defaulters as evil and corrupt.

She added that, there are some quickloan defaulters who have consciously refused to pay their debt challenging the NIA to block their SIM cards because they have not yet re-registered their SIM cards.

Mrs. Ursula Owusu reiterated that, it is disincentive for the government to attract investors into the tech space hence they shouldn’t forget that it is this same quickloan that has created an avenue for a new cadre of small-scale businesses, giving individuals who take Ghc500 or Ghc1000 the opportunity to turn it around in order to run business and pay their facilities back on time.
