Former Regional Minister for the Central Region of Ghana, Mr. Kwamena Duncan has come out to explain why immediate past minority leader, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu was removed from his position as minority leader of parliament.

According to him, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu and the MP for the Asawase constituency, Hon. Mubarak Muntaka were removed because they didn’t declare their support for the NDC National Chairman, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.

Per his sentiments, the party’s recent parliamentary reshuffle was a retaliatory perpetuated by National Executives of the party to subdue the two astute NDC associates.

He reiterated that, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah knew the two weren’t in support of his quest to become National Chairman and if that is case, there would be no need keeping them in parliament, knowing very well they had antagonistic intentions about his position and progress as a leading member of the party.
