Just In: Education Minister To Appear Before Parliament Over SHS Placement Scandal [Read Full Article For Reason]

Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates the Education committee of Parliament will be hauling the Minister of Education, Mr. Yaw Osei Adutwum to question on him matters relating to alleged corrupt activities relating to the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).

The Placement System has come under intense scrutiny in line allegations some individuals receive money with the aim of changing schools for wards of some parents.

In a recent interview monitored by ghlatest.net, Dr. Clement Apaak, the Deputy Ranking Member of Parliament’s Educational Committee will be seeking to hear from the Minister of Education measures it is putting in place in order to avoid future happenings of alleged corruptible activities related to the placement system.

According to Dr. Clement Apaak, the main aim of the committee is to ensure students who qualify on the basis of merit and are placed in grade “A” schools are not denied the opportunity to get their befitting schools based on somebody’s profit from having imminent access to the placement system.
