Messi is the best player in the world – Sergio Ramos settles GOAT debate and these are his reasons

Sergio Ramos, who has played with both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, has decided on the GOAT.

A few years ago, the idea of Ramos and Messi ever playing together would have sounded quite far-fetched.

During their incredibly successful stints at Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively, the two fought for more than ten years.

Ramos, who has been dismissed more times than any other footballer in the history of the top five leagues in Europe, has found himself on the receiving end of some savage treatment from Messi.

Despite this, Messi frequently outperformed Ramos. The illustrious Argentine forward is the guy with the most goals in El Clasico history.

After playing with Messi and Ronaldo, Ramos declares his GOAT.
Ramos, who trained and played with Messi for 18 months, now refers to the South American as the best football player in history.

Ramos said that it was painful for years to play against Messi, as reported by Goal, in an interview with PSG TV. “I’m enjoying him right now.

He is the greatest football player ever, according to many.

Ramos appears to have decided that Messi is the GOAT at this point.

In July 2021, Ramos moved from Madrid to Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent.

One month later, Messi joined him at the Parc des Princes, shocking the Spanish defender as well as the rest of the globe.

It seems sense that many football fans assumed the two would have, at best, a chilly relationship.

However, the superstars put their disagreements aside right away and ended up developing an unanticipated bromance on the field.

Is Lionel Messi truly the GOAT?
Ramos’ remarks are sure to harm Ronaldo in particular, but the center-back is simply expressing what many other football fans believe after the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner and Argentina won the World Cup.

At the age of 35, Messi has accomplished everything he set out to during his remarkable career and no longer has anything to prove to anyone.

Messi responded perfectly when a reporter exclaimed, “Let’s go for more!” at the conclusion of an interview this week in Paris.

He is aware that his position as possibly the greatest footballer in history has already been solidly established, regardless of what else he accomplishes before his retirement.
