Controversial Ghanaian Blogger, Bongo Ideas has Lambasted Otumfuo over poor Infrastructure shown to Idris Elba.

Hollywood actor, Idris Elba joined Otumfuo and the Ashanti Kingdom to celebrate it’s Akwasidae Festival at Manhyia yesterday.

Idris Elba’s visit to the Manhyia for the Akwasidae Festival has generated a lot of reactions on social media.

Whiles others are commending the Hollywood actor for the visit, the controversial blogger praised his voice against Otumfuo for failing to develop Ashanti Kingdom which is supposedly rich in gold.

According to him, Idris Elba was shown deplorable road Network, poor settlement, poor architecture as captured in his Facebook page that read;

“…hope Idris Elba was shown the poorer settlements, old architecture, bad road network, and polluted water bodies that have made Kumasi look like an underdeveloped town?”

“Otumfuo’s only success is how he has reduced a naturally-resourced town that should be looking like Dubai by now to rags.”

“There’s absolutely no sense in flaunting gold as a cultural heritage while your surroundings still look like a pre-colonial township.* The gold must be used to better society.’
