Transport Fares May Not Increase Till Further Notice – GPRTU Hints, Checkout Their Reason

Head of Communications for the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), Mr. Abass Moro has come out to state that there might not be any situation of an increase in transport fares.

According to Alhaji Abass, any decision on the increment of fares will be made public after relevant meetings with the appropriate stakeholders.

Adding to this, the PRO of the GPRTU advised everyone to stay calm with indications increment in insurance premiums will ensure the transport takes a critical look at situations before making any adjustments.

Furthermore, Alhaji Abass Moro said the GPRTU must ensure they meet recommendations associated with insurance policy, AMA documentation and park tolls hence it will be better if they consider the percentages before announcing an increment of transport fares.
