Double Track System Is Giving Us Headache – Ghanaian Teachers Lament, Checkout Their Reason

Recent information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates the Ghana National Association of Teachers popularly known as GNAT is appealing to the Ghana Education Service (GES) to innovate a new module to phase out the old known double-track system.

The double-track system was introduced and implemented in response to the increased figure of students admitted into the various government schools on the back of the state’s rollout of the free SHS policy.

In line with the downsides associated with this educational policy, Teachers have expressed their utmost concern in the breaks this double-track system have provided.

Furthermore, the General Secretary of the Ghana National Association of Teachers, Mr. Thomas Musah has indicated that, if the educational system doesn’t return to its old style of operation, teachers will begin to contract chronic diseases that the country will find difficult to handle.
