The Head of Communications for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mr. Henry Asante Twum has made it clear he cannot state the exact date that the GFA will announce the name of Ghana’s new coach because he has no idea when that time will come.

However, he is optimistic that the announcement of a new Black Stars coach will be made very soon.

Adding to this, he said the GFA has received over 1,000 CVs in line with the application of the Black Stars coaching job.

Divergent to these applications, he made it clear the FA never asked for applications from any sportsmen rather it was the coaches who were personally threw in their CV for a review to be conducted on them.
