Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has accepted a whopping amount of Ghc 7,000 from a certain organization to enroll these children in top-class Category “A” like Wesley Girls High School.

This astonishing disclosure was made by the Director General of the Ghana Education Service, Prof. Kwasi Opoku Amankwah after access to the automated school placement portal manipulated by the GES Boss and Minister of Education was tampered with.

In line with the educational organization’s aim to clamp down on the several fraudulent activities associated with the placement of students in their preferred senior high schools, access to the automated placement portal was given to only the Director of the GES and the Minister of Education.

Divergent to the aforementioned premises, the Director General of the GES made the announcement on the illegitimate placement of some students in Category A schools like Achimota School and Wesley Girls after he was denied access to the site, leaving it accessible to only the Education Minister.
