The Institute Of Energy Security (IES) is forecasting a anticipated drop down in the prices of fuel for the second pricing window in February, 2023.

The Institute is projecting for a drop in the price of Gasoil from Ghc15.90 to Ghc15.25 within the second week of the pricing window this month.

In alignment to these anticipated adjustments, the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is expected to be pegged at Ghc13.51 per kilogram during the aforementioned pricing window.

The IES stated that the upswing in prices of Gasoil is as a result of directives issued by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) made to ensure these adjustments reflect the government’s Gold for Oil policy.
