The Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), has provided Ghanaians with an update on the total number of teenage pregnancies recorded in the year 2022.

In the last reportage released by the group of researchers, it was stated clearly that approximately 10.6% of teenage girls in Ghana got pregnant last year.

According to the ISSER, this percentage depicts a reduction inferring from the percentage recorded a year earlier.

In 2021, the figure of teenage pregnancies recorded in Ghana was equivalent to 11.1% with average rate of teenage pregnancies spanning from 2018 to 2022 estimated at 11.26%.
