Information gathered by ghlatest indicates Portuguese defender, Pepe has paid his last respect to Ghanaian and Hatayaspor midfielder, Christian Atsu.

In a recent video monitored by ghlatest, the Portuguese player was seen holding customized jerseys of his club with Atsu’s name embossed behind them.

It was all commiseration as he and his teammates took time ahead of their recent match to show the Ghanaian midfielder reverence after news about his sudden demise broke out on the internet.

The player’s corpse is expected to be in Ghana by the close of the day for the final funeral rites to be performed by family members in his Ghanaian residence.
