Government Will Ensure Atsu Gets A Befitting Burial – Bawumia Tells Family, Checkout His Reason

The current Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has stated that the government will be fully involved in the funeral of the late Black Stars, Christian Atsu, to ensure he gets a befitting burial.

Atsu’s body was recovered from the rubbles of his apartment after almost 12 days of tortuous search by the rescue team in Turkey and his remains are currently in Ghana ready to buried as custom demands.

In addition to the several dignitaries who arrived at the Kotoka International Airport to welcome the body of the illustrious Ghanaian player, Bawumia was present and has assured the family of Atsu that they are not alone in this time of grief.

Upon arrival at the airport, he extended his warmest condolences to the family, Atsu twin sister and elder as well as other notable personalities present at the gathering.
