Akwasi Appiah Finally Explains Why Christian Atsu Failed To Join Black Stars Team Till His Death

Former Black Stars coach, Akwasi Appiah has finally come to explain why the former Newcastle player failed to play for the Black Stars after his last appearance in 2019.

The whole of Ghana is mourning the former Hatayaspor footballer in line with his sudden demise after his body was found under the rubbles at the location where the recent Turkish earthquake happened around his residence.

According to coach Akwasi Appiah, Christian Atsu was battling with injuries while he was playing for Newcastle hence he needed time to undergo surgery before he could join the senior national team of Ghana.

Per his narration, issues concerning his injury kept worsening leading to a gradual deterioration in his tactical ability as a player which led him to bow out of the Ghanaian team till further notice.
