GES Gives New Reopening Date For SHS 1 Students

Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates the Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced a new reopening date for all SHS 1 entrants who have been placed in the various senior high schools after sitting for the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination.

Per the Ghana Education Service, newly admitted students are expected to the various senior high schools they have been placed in, before Sunday, 27 February, 2023.

This is to ensure they are able to complete their registration process for the onset of a new academic journey at the second cycle institutional level.

Initially, it was stated by the GES that the official reopening date for all senior high school entrants was slated for Monday, 20 February, 2023 which happens to be an arrangement made by the service to ensure students get hold of their prospectus before finally reporting for serious academic work to begin.
