With 20 Asamoah Gyan’s, Dede Ayew’s, We Wouldn’t Have To Go To IMF – Prof. Twumasi Reveals, Checkout His Reason

The Director General of the National Sports Authority, Prof. Peter Twumasi is advocating for more professionalism in Ghana sports in order to increase wealth in the country.

According to the NSA boss, sportsmen like Andre Dede Ayew and Asamoah Gyan can serve as the backbone of the Ghana’s economy and save the country from returning to IMF.

He reiterated that, at the moment, sports generates lots of income for Ghanaians hence it will be advisable if the government considers tapping into the terrain for more money.

Adding to this, he said if Ghana has more than 20 of the likes of Asamoah Gyan and Dede Ayew, there will be no need to seek for financial bailout from the IMF because they will be able to get the money needed to meet the country’s financial target.
