Kofi Kinaata Becomes First Ghanaian Musician To Have His Songs Studied At The University For More Than 5 Years

The popular “Susuka” hitmaker has been recognized as one of the few Ghanaian musicians whose songs have broken boundaries in the Ghanaian music terrain.

Being a lyricist who has bagged the VGMA songwriter’s award on numerous occasions, it’s safe to say nobody can beat his record as far as lyricism is concerned.

Well, he has made another sterling record as a musician and this time around it is affiliated to the educational system specifically tertiary education.

Recent information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates Kofi Kinaata is the only Ghanaian musician to have his music lyrics and concept studied by students from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) for eight years since 2016.

In 2016, students from a department of institution studies his “Susuka” tune and two years later his “Confession” song which became a nationwide banger was studied.

Afterwards, his “Things Fall Apart” became another topic for study in 2022 and is still being studied till now.
