From all indications, it’s safe to say Ghana’s new coach Chris Houghton has set off with his job on a very positive and convincing note.

Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates the former Brighton and Hove Albion manager was present at the Emirates Stadium to watch Thomas Partey and Antoine Semenyo play in their recent English Premier League club matches.

On Saturday 4 March, 2023, he watched Thomas Partey help Arsenal come from behind to silence Bournemouth FC on a 3-2 scoreline resulting in an impressive five point lead on the league table ahead of defending champions, Manchester City.

Coincidentally, Thomas Partey scored Arsenal’s first goal of the game bringing down the deficit from a 2-0 defeat to a 2-1 scoreline and it was after the opening goal that the Gunners managed to steal a late winner kind courtesy two goals from Ben White and Nelson.

In that same game, Antoine Semenyo played for more than sixty minutes before finally being substituted out of the game.
