March 7 Declared Public Holiday For Students, This Is Why

Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates Tuesday, 7 March, 2023 has been declared a public holiday for students all over the country.

This is in line with the Independence day celebration observed on Monday, 6 March, 2023 which students across the country participated in to commemorate Ghana’s emancipation from millitary control.

Information on this public holiday was contained in a press statement released by the Ghana Education Service (GES) not long ago.

Unlike the usual Independence day celebration observed at the Independence square in Accra, this year’s occasion was held in Adaklu, town located in Volta Region of Ghana, as part of the President’s intentions to ensure all regional territories have a fair share of the experience of the annually organized celebration.
