Ghana’s Former Sports Minister Goes To Jail For 7 Days, This Is Why

Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates Ghana’s former Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Mustapha Ahmed has been sentenced to a seven-day jail term by the Accra Circuit Court.

This is in line with his offense pertaining a contempt for court over a land related issue.

In a recent ruling made by the Accra Circuit Court, he was granted perpetual injunction refraining him from trespassing on the land which he consciously violated.

In addition to the seven day jail term, he was fined to an amount of Ghc12,000 with a default jail term of 30 days in prison.
