Black Stars To Honor Christian Atsu During Angola AFCON Qualifiers

Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates the 2023 AFCON qualifiers between Ghana and Angola will be dedicated to deceased Black Stars footballer, Christian Atsu.

This announcement was made by the Communication’s Director of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Henry Asante Twum who expressed the team’s sadness during Atsu’s passing.

In a recent interview monitored by ghlatest.net, Mr. Henry Asante Twum stated that players of the Black Stars team were massively affected by the former Hatayaspor attacker’s death hence they will honor him during the match.

Over the past few weeks, players from the Ghanaian team have pay tribute to Christian Atsu during their goal celebrations for club side and some of these notable players include Ajax midfielder, Mohammed Kudus and Arsenal’s Thomas Partey.
