Don’t Rush For Vaccines, We Have Enough – Ghana Health Service Tells Caregivers

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed taking delivery of a consignment of childhood vaccines entreating caregivers to refrain from rushing to hospital for vaccines.

According to the GHS, the Ministry of Health has made adequate provisions for the supply of vaccines that will last the rest of the year and beyond.

Adding to this, the GHS stated that the consignment include imported vaccines for Measles, BCG and OPG and are accompanied with needless, safety boxes and syringes.

Furthermore, the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma Aboagye said the vaccines are free and can be obtained at designated health facilities and all Child Welfare Clinics otherwise known as weighing centers in Ghana.
