Popular Ghanaian blogger, Albert Naa Hyde popularly known as Bongo Ideas has questioned the relevance of Nana Ama McBrown to an english-speaking television station like TV3.

According to the blogger, the actress’ skills are not skills in journalism and presentation are not that sharp to merit her the opportunity to join a highly reputable television station like TV3.

He went on to state that, the only thing that Nana Ama McBrown could add to the station’s worth is the locally recognized “donkomi” adverts he does to target Twi-speaking non-elites.

Adding to this, be stated that Tv3 is on the verge of making a big mistake in line with its decision to hire Nana Ama McBrown because his employment will only result in rifts, stiff competition and underperformance.

Below is what he said;

I’m not tryna hate but what does Nana Ama offer an English-speaking station like TV3?
She lacks proper communication skills on set, lacks the ability to ask the right questions, can’t simplify complicated issues, and can’t speak nor write flawless, impeccable English.
Aside from her acting success, her journalistic and presentation skills are not sharp enough for her to join such a major media house. It probably stops at running ‘donkomi’ adverts on TV to target the Twi-speaking non-elites.
TV3 might be making the biggest mistake by hiring all these “top stars,” which will lead to stiff competition, rifts, and underperformance—the EIB Network’s (GhOne TV) Nemesis.
The bottom line is that Nana Ama is not Media General-worthy material. She might fit in at other stations, but she’s just not good enough to join the highly rated TV3 brand.
