Inaki Williams, Six Other Players Set For AfCON Qualification Home Debut Against Angola

Athletico Bilbao attacker, Inaki Williams is set to lead the pack of new players who will be making their debut in Ghana’s first leg AfCON qualifiers against Angola.

Currently, the Black Stars squad is filled a variety of new entrants, most of which were integrated into the team prior to the 2022 World Cup tournament hosted in Qatar last year.

In line with the current standing of players selected from the lots that participated in the just ended World Cup tournament, Ghana’s new coach, Chris Houghton has added a few new players who weren’t part of the World Cup squad, resulting in an increment in the number of new faces fans will be anticipating to see at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium during Ghana’s home game on Thursday, 23 March, 2023.

A list of these new faces who will be moving to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the upcoming cracker include Inter Allies left-back, Patrick Kpozo, Ghanaian-German top-class defender Ransford Konigsdorffer, Kamal Sowah, Salis Abdul Samed, Tariq Lamptey, Inaki Williams and Mohammed Salisu.
