Empress Gifty was supposed to be the ‘original host’ of United Showbiz program, not Nana Ama McBrown – Insider Reports

Recent reports gathered by ghlatest.net indicates Gospel musician, Empress Gifty was initially the appointed host of UTV’s United Showbiz program until situations changed unexpectedly.

Per reports from an insider of the media house, the show was initially supposed to be hosted by Gospel songstress, Empress Gifty until some individuals who are of great influence in the media house lobbied for Nana Ama to be selected as the ultimate host of the show.

According to an audio going viral on social media, a renowned Ghanaian movie producer and media personality named Roger Quartey led the campaign for Empress Gifty to be axed resulting in the selection of Nana Ama McBrown in the long run.

The insider revealed that a few days before Empress Gifty’s move to sign her contract with UTV in order to receive hefty cash from the media house, the media named Roger Quartey together with his comrades stormed the media to take over the juicy deal from the Gospel musician to be given to McBrown.

It was indicated that fight for this deal nearly resulted in a chaotic crescendo inside the Despite Media house hence the management had to settle score through a voting process and fortunately, Nana Ama McBrown won and was called to the station to anchor the show and this is one reason why there was no signing of contract with management before she began hosting the show.
