The final lay in state date for Christian Atsu has been scheduled for Friday, March 17, 2023 and it has been reported that the President of Ghana will be gracing the event.

Divergent to this fact, players who ply their trade in Europe will most definitely miss the final funeral of Atsu as they will be playing most of their club games during the period.
