It Is A Good Decision To Reintroduce Road Toll – Economist

A Ghanaian economist and political risk analyst has expressed his utmost delight in the reintroduction of road tolls, a levy collected from road users over the past few years.

According to the economist named Dr. Theo Acheampong, payment of road toll is mandatory in every country hence he was amazed government decided to scrap it a few months ago.

Adding to this, he reiterated that the decision to bring it back wasn’t a bad one because he felt it didn’t make sense scrapping it in the first place.

Dr. Acheampong further indicated that assigning the payment of road tolls being brought back, he is also in full support of the increment in amounts to paid by vehicle drivers.
