Just In: Chris Houghton Breaks Otto Addo’s Record After Triumph Over Angola

Published

Ghana’s game against Angola happens to be Chris Houghton’s first assignment as manager of the senior national team of Ghana and amazingly it is his first win.

This indicates he has been able to break Otto Addo’s record after the latter recorded a draw during his first assignment against Nigeria early last year.

Otto Addo was given the chance to coach the Black Stars ahead of the World Cup play-offs and his game ended in a 0-0 drawn game which saw the team qualify for the mundial after drawing 1-1 with the Super Eagles in Abuja.

In line with this, Chris Houghton happens to be the first coach appointed under Kurt Okraku’s GFA leadership, who has been able to record a win in his first assignment for the Black Stars.
