Management Of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Bans Use Of Social Media, This Is Why

Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates management of the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital has placed restrictions on the use of social media during contact.

According to the prominent hospital, the new directive has been adopted as a measure to curb the increasing spate of nurses spending more time on TikTok than their occupation.

Management of the hospital had observed how numerous were being neglected at the expense of nurses spending time on their phones to catch fun on social media during working hours.

The Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, Professor Otchere Addae-Mensah stated that the lives of patients who visit the facility cannot be jeopardized because of the reckless lifestyle of nurses addicted to social media to the extent of spending hours on phone during working hours.

In line with this fact, he indicated that they have blocked the hospital’s IT system to YouTube and other social media platforms to prevent staff from a possible loss of concentration on patient care via any of these social media platforms.
