Just In: Update On Payment Of Teacher Trainees Allowance Revealed

Information gathered by ghlates.net indicates the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Hon. Abena Osei Asare has debunked claims made by the NDC on the abolishment of the payment of teacher trainees allowance.

Earlier this week, the minority leadership of parliament alleged that reigning government has intentionally refused to make payment concerning the teacher trainees allowance though parliament had passed the necessary measures presented by the Ministry of Finance.

According to the minority group, government has consciously cancelled payment of the allowance but it is unable to muster courage to inform trainees of save out of political expediency.

In response to these, Hon. Osei Asare has rebutted these claims labelling as frivolous and unfounded.
