Dede Ayew Was Never Injured, He Left Because He Was Benched During Ghana’s First Leg Game Against Angola – Charles Taylor Claims

Former Ghanaian international, Charles Taylor has come out to make claims on the injury excuse given by Dede Ayew after he stood as a substitute for first leg AfCON qualification encounter between Ghana and Angola in Kumasi.

According to Charles Taylor, Dede Ayew never left because he was injured as portrayed by the GFA and some members of the Black Stars team.

However, the salient Ghanaian captain was upset for not playing in the first leg match between Ghana and Angola after he emerged as one of the few players who appeared very early in camp ahead of the game.

He added that though he feels Dede leaving camp wasn’t based on injury issues, he thinks there is still something special the player can do for the team but for the excuse he gave, he is still struggling to fina a way to believe it because it doesn’t sound convincing to him.
