Just In: Ghanaians Commend Chris Houghton For Super Substitution That Led To Ghana’s Equalizer Against Angola

In the second leg AfCON 2023 qualification encounter against Angola, the Ghanaians had a tough time after nearly losing to the Palancras Negras team.

After a thrilling first half, the game was level and moving into the second half of the match, Ghanaians were optimistic they could get a draw or win after the entire ninety minutes.

However, an early second half goal from the Angolan team changed the game completely placing Ghana in an extremely comfortable position in the match and on the group table.

Just when all hopes were lost, Osman Bukari came in as a substitute and score a beautiful tap in goal to bring the scores level shutting down the roaring fans of Angola on home soil.

In line with this strategic substitution that changed the game in minutes, Ghanaians have commended coach Chris Houghton for an amazing substitute made a job well done.

As it stands now, Ghana still tops Group E with eight points followed Central African Republic who have garnered seven points after beating Madagascar on a home and away basis.
