He took Legon Cities money, showed up for one training session and left. Nothing’s left than to retire – Bongo Ideas takes Asamoah Gyan

Popular Ghanaian blogger, Albert Naa Hyde popularly known as Bongoideas has descended heavily on former Black Stars captian, Asamoah Gyan after the latter claimed he returned to play in the Ghana Premier League to make an impact.

After playing for Legon Cities, Asamoah Gyan has returned to play for any other football club and it’s quite uncertain whether or not he is a retired Black Stars player or an active team member.

It’s in line with this premises that BongoIdeas has charged the former Sunderland striker to retire because he doesn’t think he has been that impactful to the Ghana Premier League as he claims.

According to the blogger, he only returned to Ghana to play for Legon Cities in search of monetary benefits and not to make any impact because he could recall that the former Black Stars captain showed up for only one training, left and never returned to his former club again.
