A retired Ghanaian pilot identified as Captain Micheal Foli that engaging in an airline business operation is very risky for any country hence Ghana shouldn’t think of taking such huge risk.

According to Captain Foli, engaging in an airline business is like any other business hence it’s imperative to presume or project if there is a market for the product.

He reiterated that, this is necessary because nobody plans on starting a business and losing money especially not at a time Ghana is going through such tough times economically.

In response to the Transport Minister’s disclosure indicating that Ghana Airways will be operational by July this year, Captain Foli stated that the government is now aware of the risk associated setting up an airline which is one major reason why it has decided to consider bringing in private investors.
