54-Year-Old Man Arrested For Illegal Installation Of Meters, 7 Fake Meters Seized

Information gathered by ghlatest.net indicates a 54-year-old man has been arrested by the Police in Abuakwa for installing fake meters for some people in Kunsu in the Ahafo Ano South West District in the Greater Kumasi region.

The 54-year-old has been accused of replacing post-paid meters of some people with debts on them in place of fake meters in the community.

According to reports gathered by ghlatest.net, ECG officials had already installed new postpaid meters in the home of the affected people but routine checks conducted by officers revealed that the culprit had replaced the meters with fake ones.

This came to light when the officials on the revenue mobilization drive detected the problem in the area.
