Image Of Ghana Police Under Dampare Sinking – Ghanaian Lecturer Makes Sincere Confession

A political science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) who goes by the name Dr. Amakye Boateng has stated that the image of the Ghana Police Service under the current IGP George Dampare is sinking.

In a recent disclosure made by the lecturer, he said the challenge the current IGP is facing is still rising and the deteriorating image of the police service is getting out of hand.

The comments made by the political science lecturer was in response to a viral video where a police officer was seen begging a civilian for his life at Axim in the Western region.

Meanwhile, the police service has stated that it has arrested four members of the gang and revealed that the four persons arrested were involved in money extortion from galamsey sites in Axim, a popular community in the Western region of Ghana.
