The clerk of the Ga West Presbytery, Rev. Kofi Antwi has stated eventhough he had been married to his lover for 25 years, things never got simpler when they began in the middle of the 1990s.

Speaking about how he met his better half, he said they did so much at the same church(Kwashieman Presby) where he had just concluded his term as the President of the Young People’s Guild.

He revealed that he started a friendship with his wife after meeting her when she had just returned to Ghana from a youth exchange program.

According to Rev. Kofi Antwi, their friendship had just developed a step further since both were vibrant in the ministry, especially the youth wing.

In a recent interview monitored by ghlatest.net, he revealed to the host, Nana Yaa Konadu that his wife was already affluent and her rich father had even bought a car for her at that time.

However, given the condition he came under being from a low-income home, the Reverend father said it was very difficult for him to settle down with his wife.

He reiterated that his wife’s mother approved of their marriage but his father vehemently disagreed with his daughters choice because of their social level.

Per his narration, their marriage delayed because his mother was in support of their union but his father was not based on the fact that he wanted his daughter to wed a man who belongs to the social level as them.
